i was going to make this post earlier but then i got distracted by vampires. which, in other words oops i just watched the first four episodes of trueblood and am going in for a fifth (confederate!flashback!bill! yespls!). doot doo...
HEY THIS HAPPENED TODAY:
i was out in our pretty huge berry patch picking raspberries and black currants. and because i'm a little bit trashy that way, i was wearing a mostly-zipped hoodie and bra but no shirt. which seemed like a fine idea, until SOMETHING FELL IN MY BRA. AND I WAS LIKE.
EW.
AND THEN IT WAS A DADDY LONG-LEGS AND I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT AND WENT INSIDE AND SHOWERED. A LOT. AND I STILL FEEL PRETTY VIOLATED.
basically it was like this scene from kiss kiss bang bang (fair warning: link includes youtube, a spider, and a bra) only i was awake and there was no robert downey junior to save me. (additional personal information: at one point my arachnophobia was so bad that if a spider was in my line of sight i forgot to breathe, much less move at all or anything else. SO SERIOUSLY GUYS, THIS WAS NOT GOOD TIMES.)
SERIOUSLY, I AM HAVING FLASHBACKS RIGHT NOW. COLD SWEATS. IT WAS AWFUL.
...better get to that fifth episode, i guess. thanks to someone i have the decemberists' "yankee bayonet" stuck in my head.
