Ok, fine.

These pictures SUCK.
But it is NOT because I am anything less than incredible.

It is because my mother is TEH CRAP at taking pictures.

So [livejournal.com profile] silly_walk, put a sock in it, luv. XP

The full costume. I look like a loser. With horrid posture. And a bad tailor. >.<

Yes, my hands move that fast when I'm talking. And that's not my butt, it's coattails.

I'm trying to make a point here, really, as this picture is shot... the dorky look just comes naturally. And you see that whiteboard behind me?
I STILL haven't returned HH.

So those're the reallyreallyterrible pictures... yeah.

And it's really not so much a commodore costume, as in PotC, as it is more an early-19th-century naval captain's costume...

BUT DAMNED IF IT AIN'T STILL THE BEST COSTUME IN THE WHOLE WORLD!

*ahem* yes.

Great pictures! I guess there is a fun point in dressing up at Halloween. Aye, Captain!

I do keep nagging my brother about how I want a tricorn for sailing. It'd be utterly silly, but very funny.

And I'll finally get to watch HH at christmas...wheeeeeeeee. Hope the DVDs got subtitles.

Thanks. My mum kept calling me "Cap'n"... I had to glare at her.

I think they've only got English subtitles. At least the ones I've borrowed... and the last two, Duty and Loyalty, don't have subtitles at all... unless I'm mistaken. It could be that Mutiny and Retribution don't...

English subtitles are just fine. I just worry not understanding when they shout in a storm or skirmish or whatever. I had that problem with listening comprehension in Ultraviolet's "action" scenes.

Other than that, I do think my English should suffice :)

Yeah... I watch them with the subtitles all the time. Honestly, I really prefer it.

You miss a lot less. And there're a lot of storms and cannons and screamings, so especially in HH they're very helpful.
